SKU:BXSENSOR01

Detect and measure ambient light with this analog light sensor.

A light sensor has internal resistance that varies its value depending on the amount of light that hits it. For example, if you put the sensor in the dark, less electricity will pass through it (the control board will detect a value close to 0) than if you put it under a beam of light (the control board will detect a value close to 1023).

Connect it to any of the analog ports on the 4in1 Build&Code control board. Look at the colors of the cables and the colors of the terminals on the control board to guide you. Each cable should be connected to its color.

Technical Specifications

  • Power: +3.3V / +5V DC
  • Type of interface: analog
  • Definition of the pins: 1 signal (yellow) 2 Vcc (red) 3 GND (black)
  • Dimensions: 19×27 mm
