PIR Motion Sensor

5,99 Tax included

With the motion sensor, you will detect any change in this component’s surroundings. It covers a range of up to 5 meters in distance.

All living beings emanate heat, and that heat is emitted in the form of infrared radiation, which can be detected with adequate devices, such as PIR (Passive Infrared) sensors. They are called passive because they do not emit radiation, they just receive it. They pick up the presence of a human or animal by detecting the difference between the heat emitted by the body and the surrounding space.

Connect it to any of the digital ports on the 4in1 Build&Code control board. Look at the colors of the cables and the colors of the terminals on the control board to guide you. Each cable should be connected to its color.

Technical Specifications

  • Power: 5V DC
  • Range of detection: 4 to 5 meters
  • Type of interface: digital
